Sleeping 7-8 hours daily is the optimum amount of sleep for highly functional cognitive behavior
Preliminary results from the worlds largest sleep study that began in June last year have shown that regardless of age, people who sleep on average between 7 to 8 hours per night performed better cognitively than those who slept less, or more, than this amount. These results are published Oct. 9, 2018 in the journal Sleep.
