In a joint effort by IJCP and HCFI, a training and workshop on “Early Sex Education and Contraception Use” was conducted at the DAV School, Daryaganj for the students on Thursday, December 6. The workshop spoke about the importance of reproductive health & hygiene and the benefits of contraception.

There is a definite need to inform and educate adolescents on the importance of the use of contraception and we, as the school administration and management understand this need of the hour, said Ms Madhu, vice principal, DAV School.

The event that was attended by students aged 16- 18 years, saw a lot of questions being asked by the boys in an informative Q&A round at the conclusion of the workshop.
