Doctors of North MCD hospital in Delhi threaten pen down strike

North MCD hospital doctors have already threatened for mass resignation or hold a ‘pen down’ strike if their pending salaries for past three months are not paid by 16th June 2020. Resident doctors of Kasturba hospital had given a letter to the administration and threatened to resign en masse from 16th June.

Hindu Rao Hospital has already drafted a letter regarding threatening ‘pen down’ strike and the association will be handling the letter to the administration on Friday.

Sources said that other hospitals might also join this protest. Mayor Avtar Singh said that he is trying to arrange funds for payment of salaries. North MCD has employees around 1,000 senior doctors, 500 resident doctors, along with 1,500 nursing staffs.
