  1. Renal involvement is not only due to low CI, but also increased venous pressures.
  2. Neutrophil gelatinase-associated lipocalin (NGAL): Blood/urine biomarker for early recognition. Low-dose frusemide infusion preferable.
  3. In resistant cases, ultrafiltration may be helpful for symptom relief.
