A living man was declared dead by a doctor at a government hospital in Sagar district of Madhya Pradesh, has added up to a case of gross medical negligence.
On Thursday night, the doctor declared him dead. This incident came to light when police went there for the post-mortem in the morning and unexpectedly found him alive. Though, he died soon after.
The police officer said that they were intimated by the hospital that a person died there last night. In the morning, when they went for the post-mortem, he was found alive. Later, the patient died. This grave negligence is on the part of the doctor who was on duty last night.
Dr. RS Roshan, CMO, said that the negligence done by the doctor will be investigated.
