Nocturnal BP predicts faster progress to renal failure in children with impaired kidney function

Among children with impaired kidney function those with high blood pressure at night experienced a faster time to kidney failure than children with normal blood pressure says a study reported November 3 2017 at the ASN Kidney Week 2017 in New Orleans Louisiana. This decline was even more marked in patients with high BP during both day and night when compared with children with normal blood pressure.
