The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists ACOG has released expanded guidance on postpartum hemorrhage PPH to include recommendations for standard hospital wide protocols as well as potential treatment. According to the guidelines all hospitals should put organized systematic processes in place to help coordinate the response and management of PPH. The recommendations will be published in the October 2017 issue of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
