On Monday late night, a 30-year-old man committed suicide by jumping off the fifth floor of a general hospital in Bapunagar, as he was fed up of his oral and neck cancer, according to the police.The deceased, named Vishal Rajendra Trivedi, a resident of Siddhi Vinayak Society on Shayona City Road in Ghatlodia, was receiving chemotherapy for cancer at the government hospital for six months. Trivedi was unmarried and worked for a pharmaceuticals company in the Sola area of the city. He was admitted to the hospital on Friday.Around 10.30pm on Monday, he told his brother to bring him buttermilk. As soon as his brother went out, he jumped from the balcony of the fifth floor, said inspector M P Pathan of Rakhial police station. Rakhial police have registered the case of accidental death and have initiated an investigation into this case.
