Mumbai doctor booked for filming a client on pretext of hair removal procedure

On Friday, June 24, a Mumbai doctor has been booked by the Oshiwara police for allegedly filming a woman during a hair removal procedure. The accused had allegedly installed a camera inside a smoke detector.

As per the report, the woman had gone to the clinic for the hair removal procedure and had to take off her clothes for the same. Three of the doctors assistants were present during this procedure. During the procedure, the woman noticed the camera and asked them to stop the procedure. Hindustan Times reported that she clicked a picture of the camera and left the accuseds clinic.

When the complainant confronted the accused, he allegedly claimed that the footage of the camera gets deleted automatically every 15 days. The complainant then approached the Oshiwara police and filed a complaint.

Senior police inspector, Shailesh Pasalvar of Oshiwara police station said that the three assistants of the doctor claimed that the complainant was aware of the camera in advance.
