A city-based couple had filed an FIR against a private hospital for allegedly swapping their newborn which was registered by police following a complaint at the chief ministers window. After almost seven months, the couple has found some relief. Police had registered a case against the management of the hospital on Sohna Road.

Marjina said that on February 7, she had given birth to a baby boy but her husband was not allowed by the doctors and the hospital management to see the child. And after few hours, the hospital nurses returned with a baby girl and they informed her husband that she had delivered a girl. She further said that the head of the child was stronger than a newborn’s head. Her umbilical cord was removed and she must have been around seven-day old. When her husband enquired about it, a newborn boy was found in the hospital, whose mother was not admitted there.

Woman’s husband Mohd Mozahil, said that the matter was immediately reported to the Badshahpur police station but officials didnt take any action soon. They also met the CMO of Gurgaon but he also expressed helplessness. Hence, they eventually filed a complaint at the CMs window. He further said that now they have some relief and hope for justice.
