New guideline for the endocrine treatment of gender-dysphoric/gender-incongruent persons

The Endocrine Society has published clinical practice guideline for the endocrine treatment of gender dysphoric gender incongruent persons in the November 2017 issue of the Journal of Clinical Endocrinology and Metabolism. The guidelines recommend that only trained mental health professionals should diagnose gender dysphoria GD gender incongruence in adults. Criteria for such mental health professionals have also been outlined in the guideline.
