Combination of low-salt & DASH diet lower systolic BP

A study of more than 400 adults with prehypertension or stage 1 high blood pressure has shown that a combination of low salt diet and the DASH diet lowers systolic blood pressure especially in patients who recorded higher baseline systolic readings. The study is published online November 12 2017 in the Journal of the American College of Cardiology.
