In the meantime, hotels and monasteries in the state, especially in Gaya, Vaishali, Nalanda and Araria, have been asked to immediately report any symptomatic case to the health authorities.

The state health department has also appealed to the people not to panic and get carried away by any rumour. People should follow strictly the cough etiquettes. They should cover the nose and mouth using handkerchief and towel while sneezing or coughing. Frequently wash their hands with soap and water. People who have arrived from Corona-affected countries should stay at home and avoid public gatherings, irrespective of being symptomatic or asymptomatic.
