On Sunday, Italy has reported 368 new deaths from the coronavirus outburst as the countrys death countreached 1,809. The number of positive coronavirus cases rose to 24,747 from 21,157 on Saturday in Italy.

According to the World Health Organization (WHO), governments around the world have paced restrictions on the movement of citizens to decrease the spread of the coronavirus pandemic. COVID-19 has killed approximately 5,800 people with almost 153,000 infected worldwide.

Spain has become the 2nd European country to enforce a nationwide lockdown after 2,000 new confirmed cases and the number of reported deaths were doubled.

Iran also stated that more than 100 people died in the last 24 hours, with the confirmed cases reaching 14,000. Tehran said that its combat against coronavirus is severely hindered by US sanctions.

In the Philippines, the capital Manila has been closed with almost 12 million residents requested not to travel for a month. Schools in the city are already closed and large events are being banned.

In the United States, screening measures for people returning from Europe are causing commotion at the airports.

France has recorded 29 more coronavirus deaths, which is the biggest one-day rise in the country since its outbreak. The total number of death has reached to 120. More than 900 infections were recorded in the past 24 hours making the total count to 5,400 since January.

Irans health ministry has reported more 113 deaths with the total death count to 724 with approximately 14,000 confirmed coronavirus cases. This is the highest single-day rise in fatalities since the virus was reported first in the country.
