Nearly six months after the new coronavirus first surfaced, the COVID-19 pandemic caused by it seems “not even close to being over”, warned the World Health Organization (WHO) chief Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus.

WHO chief urged for renewed global commitment to save lives as cases crossed the 10 million mark worldwide, with 500,000 deaths. “We all want this to be over. We all want to get on with our lives. But the hard reality is: this is not even close to being over”, he said… (UN, June 29, 2020)
