In the last 24 hours, India has reported 43,082 new coronavirus cases. With this, India’s total coronavirus case count has reached 93,09,788. Besides, reporting fresh COVID-19 cases, the death count has also increased by 492. A total number of 1,35,715 people have succumbed to the disease in India so far. Almost 39,379 people were discharged after treatment in the last 24 hours.

Out of the 93 lakh coronavirus cases, the total number of active cases in India are 4,55,555 whereas the total number of discharged cases are 87,18,517.

On Thursday, Delhi reported a drop in COVID-19 deaths for the 2nd successive day as 91 people died because of the disease and 5,475 new cases were recorded. The Delhi government is considering bringing back the night curfew as a preventive measure to contain the spread of coronavirus in the city.

Mumbai reported 1,147 fresh coronavirus cases and 548 recoveries on Thursday. Mumbai’s COVID-19 death count was 16, taking the total number of deaths to 10,739. Mumbai has 2,79,737 total coronavirus cases with 2,54,152 recoveries and 11,697 active cases.
