The European Association for the Study of Obesity has released new guidelines putting forward practical recommendations to help clinicians manage patients after bariatric surgery. The evidence-based recommendations were published online in Obesity Facts and highlight data from current evidence and existing guidelines. The guidelines focus on the management of issues such as nutrition, medical and psychological comorbidities, pregnancy, and weight regain.
