Israel could become 1st country to vaccinate its entire population

Israel could become the first country to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, stated health officials, with over 10%, i.e., 1 million, of the population already having received the first of two doses of the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine by the 12th day of a vaccination program.

Israel, with a population of 9 million, is followed by Bahrain, which has already vaccinated around 3.4% of its population of 1.5 million. In the US, less than 1% of the population has been vaccinated, while in many European countries, only small fractions of the population have been vaccinated yet.
