More than 1.14 Crore COVID-19 Vaccine Doses Administered in India

The number of vaccine doses against COVID-19 administered to healthcare and frontline workers in India has surpassed 1.14 crores, stated the Union Health Ministry.

The provisional report till 6 pm on Monday stated that overall, 1,14,24,094 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered to 75,40,602 healthcare workers (HCWs) and 38,83,492 frontline workers (FLWs) across 2,44,071 sessions in the country. A total of 64,25,060 HCWs have been administered the first dose of the vaccine while 11,15,542 HCWs have received their second dose. The FLWs have received the first dose so far. Lakshadweep, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan have administered the first vaccine doses to over 75% of registered HCWs and FLWs… (NDTV – PTI, February 22, 2021)
