The number of vaccine doses against COVID-19 administered to healthcare and frontline workers in India has surpassed 1.14 crores, stated the Union Health Ministry.

The provisional report till 6 pm on Monday stated that overall, 1,14,24,094 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered to 75,40,602 healthcare workers (HCWs) and 38,83,492 frontline workers (FLWs) across 2,44,071 sessions in the country. A total of 64,25,060 HCWs have been administered the first dose of the vaccine while 11,15,542 HCWs have received their second dose. The FLWs have received the first dose so far.
