The World Health Organization (WHO) has cautioned that it is unrealistic to think that the COVID-19 pandemic will be over by the end of the year.
Michael Ryan, WHO emergencies director, stated that it might be possible, however, to decrease hospitalizations and deaths. Ryan said that it would be premature and unrealistic to think that we will be able to finish this virus by the end of this year, adding that we may be able to finish with the tragedy associated with the pandemic.
