Once-daily glucocorticoid treatment improves QOL in patients with adrenal insufficiency

A study reported online December 8, 2017 in The Lancet Diabetes-Endocrinology suggests that a once-daily, modified-release glucocorticoid regimen may reduce the recurrent infections and metabolic effects that can occur with multiple daily doses in patients with adrenal insufficiency and improve their quality of life (QOL).
