93.7 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines administered in the U.S., says CDC

The United States has administered 93,692,598 doses of COVID-19 vaccines across the country as of Tuesday morning while 123,232,775 doses have been distributed in total, reported the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on Tuesday.

The figure includes the numbers for Moderna, Pfizer/BioNTech, and Johnson & Johnson vaccines as of 6:00 a.m. ET on Tuesday. The tally reported on March 8 stated that 92,089,852 doses of the vaccines had been administered in country, while the agency had distributed 116,378,615 doses. A total of 7,419,240 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered to people in long-term care facilities, reported the agency… (Reuters, March 10, 2021)
