Even the Indian Institute of Homeopathic Physicians does not want a bridge course. We should arrange similar letters from other Ayush Associations.

Subject: National Medical Commission Bill Regarding -

Dear Sirs,

It has been brought to our notice by members of our Organization in Andhra Pradesh & Telangana regarding the NMC Bill introduced in the Parliament by replacing the existing MCI.

Our Organization is totally against the proposed Bridge course for Ayush doctors as it will not serve any purpose for the National Health. This course will open a pandoras box for creating quackery which is disastrous for National Health, thereby reducing the quality of Allopathic medicare. Most importantly it will undermine the faith, Homoeopaths have in their own system of medicine. In the long history of 70 years of existence our Organization has never, demanded Govt. to permit Homoeopaths to practice Allopathy or requested Govt. to start a Bridge course. We are in favour of maintaining the purity of each system of medicine.

 As far as this Bridge course· is concern we fully support your concern and we stand by your side in this matter. Regarding other clauses in the Bill we are unable to give any comments as it is purely your prerogative and it is not in our domain. Though we are practicing Homoeopaths with strong footing worldwide we are equally proud of our Allopathic professionals who are world class in health care.
