A little boy used to see that his mother embroidered a lot. He would sit at her knee and look up.He would ask her what she was doing and she would tell him that she was embroidering. 

The little boy would tell his mother that it looked like a mess from where he was. From the underside, he saw her work within the boundaries of the round hoop and complained that it looked messy. She smiled at the boy and told him to go and play. She said that when she is finished with embroidering, she will put him on her knee and let him see it from her side.

The boy wondered why his mother was using some dark threads along with the bright ones and why they looked messy from his view. A few minutes would pass and his mother would call him to sit on her knee. The boy would be surprised to see a beautiful flower or a sunset. He could not believe it, as from underneath it looked all messy. 

His mother would then say that from underneath it looked messy, but he did not realize that a pre-drawn plan existed on the top. It was a design and she was following it. 

It is the same with life. Our Heavenly Father is embroidering our life. From our side, it might look messy and the threads may seem dark, but we must do our business while He does his. And one day, he will bring us to Heaven and put us on His knee and we will see the plan from His side.
