SECTION 3: Treatment Updates in COVID-Guidelines and Recommendations

In the latest guidelines issued by AIIMS Delhi, the use of inhalational budesonide (administered via metered-dose inhaler/dry powder inhaler at a dose of 800 µg b.i.d. for fivedays) is recommended in patient with mild COVID-19 under home isolation and care if symptoms (fever and/or cough) are persistent beyond five days of disease onset.
