The vast majority of individuals hospitalized with COVID-19 at the Cleveland Clinic werenot fully vaccinated, reported the institution.

Out of 4,300 hospital admissions between January 1 and mid-April, 99% were not fully vaccinated, stated Eduardo Mireles, MD, director of the clinics medical intensive care unit. Mireles said that it can’t be clearer that vaccines work and it is the pivotal action that is needed to get back to normal lives as they were prior to the pandemic.
