Over 18 crore individuals vaccinated against COVID-19 in India

India crossed a major landmark in the fight against COVID-19 as the cumulative number of vaccine doses against the disease administered in the country surpassed 18 crores on Friday, stated the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.

The cumulative number of COVID-19 vaccine doses that have been administered in India stands at 18, 04, 29, 261, as per the provisional report released at 8 pm. Overall, 3, 25, 071 individuals in the age group of 18-44 years were administered their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine in a day and cumulatively 42, 55, 362 individuals across 32 States/UTs have been vaccinated since the start of Phase-3 of the vaccination drive… (NDTV- ANI, May 15, 2021)
