14 states and Union Territories have achieved a COVID-19 recovery rate of 90% and above, which means for every 100 confirmed cases, 90 have recovered. 

The total active caseload in the country declined to less than 26 lakh on Tuesday, from a peak of 37 lakh earlier in May. Delhi has reported the highest recovery rate at 97%, followed by UP, Bihar and Haryana at 94% each. Maharashtra, Telangana, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh and MP have reported a recovery rate of about 93%.

Uttarakhand has a low recovery rate of around 80.7%. The north-eastern states of Mizoram, Meghalaya, Nagaland and Sikkim have an even lower recovery rate of around 70-76%. The national average recovery rate stands at 89%... (ET Healthworld – TNN, May 26, 2021)
