Over half of the people in the United States, which is nearly 166 million individuals, have been administered at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine. Additionally, around 40% of the population, i.e., 133.5 million individuals, have been fully vaccinated, suggest data released by the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on Friday.

Among those aged 65 years and above, around 86% have been given at least one dose, while close to 75% have been fully vaccinated. Overall, 292,099,778 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered thus far - around 81% of the 362,375,765 total doses delivered... (CNN, May 28, 2021)
