Around 12 crore doses of COVID-19 vaccines will be available across the country in the month of June, said the Health Ministry. 

The ministry said in a statement that supplies are allocated to states and union territories on the basis of consumption pattern, population and vaccine wastage. It stated that for June, around 6.09 crore (6,09,60,000) doses of COVID vaccines will be supplied to the States and UTs for inoculating the priority group of healthcare workers (HCWs), frontline workers (FLWs) and individuals 45 years of age and above as free supply from the central government. An additional 5.86 crore (5,86,10,000) doses can be procured directly by the state/UTs as well as private hospitals... (News 18 – PTI, May 30, 2021)
