Study shows association of silent MI with increased risk of HF

New silent myocardial infarction (MI) at electrocardiography predicted risk of future heart failure (HF), which was independent of age, gender and other clinical HF risk factors, according to results from the Atherosclerosis Risk in Communities (ARIC) study published January 1, 2018 in the Journal of the American College of Cardiology.
