Israel finds probable association between Pfizer vaccine and myocarditis cases

Israels Health Ministry stated that it noted that the few cases of heart inflammation observed in young men who were administered the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine in Israel were possibly associated with their vaccination.

The Health Ministry in Israel stated that 275 cases of myocarditis were reported from December last year through May 2021 among over 5 million vaccinated individuals, in a study conducted to analyze the matter. Most patients who developed heart inflammation spent a maximum of four days in the hospital and 95% of these cases were mild, noted the study. The study identified a probable link between the second dose of Pfizer vaccine and the development of myocarditis among men 16 to 30 years of age… (Reuters, June 2, 2021)
