MyLab Discovery Solutions has commercially launched its ICMR-approved COVID-19 self-test kit named CoviSelf.

The kit will cost Rs 250 each and can detect positive results within 15 mins, stated the Pune-based company. The company is set to roll out 1 million kits which will be available for retail purchase in 2-3 days’ time. The company intends to produce 7 million units per week, as per market demand. The company will distribute the self-test kit to 95% of the PIN codes in the county, which will be available over-the-counter at pharmacies, drug stores and on the e-commerce platform, Flipkart.
