In Jamnagar, a 26-year-old student of M P Shah Medical College was found dead in his hostel room. Police officials are suspecting that the deceased Maulik Michhia had injected himself with some lethal dose of anaesthesia.

Maulik Michhia was a native of Rajkot city in Gujarat and was studying in the 1st year of post-graduation at M P Shah Medical College as he wanted to become an anaesthetist. On Tuesday afternoon, he was found dead on his bed in room no. 608 of the college’s post-graduation hostel. Primary investigation suggested that he might have ended his life by injecting himself a lethal dose. The exact cause of death is not known until the post-mortem report arrives.

Police had infomed Michhai’s parents about the incident and they were questioning Michhai’s colleagues and roommates as a part of their investigation.
