Switzerland is expected to allow COVID-19 vaccination for children aged 12 to 15 years this week, reported government vaccine chief Christoph Berger.

The country approved inoculation for 12-to-15-year-old children with the COVID-19 vaccine from Pfizer and BioNTEch on June 4, which was way ahead of the plan to start immunization of the younger population starting as early as July.
