More than 37 Crore Vaccine Doses Administered in India Thus Far

According to the Union Health Ministry data released on Friday, the cumulative number of COVID-19 vaccine doses administered in India has surpassed the 37-crore mark.

Over 27.86 lakh of these vaccine doses were administered on Friday. A total of 13,28,636 first doses were administered and 1,24,570 doses were given as a second dose in the 18-44 years age group on Friday. Overall, 10,98,62,585 beneficiaries in the age group of 18-44 years have received their first dose and 35,08,932 have been administered their second dose since the phase 3 of the vaccination drive began. Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Maharashtra are the states that have administered the first dose of a COVID vaccine to over 50 lakh people in the 18-44 age group… (NDTV – PTI, July 10, 2021)
