Israel has said that the country will start offering a third jab of Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine to adults with weak immune systems; however, it was still considering whether to make the booster shot available to the general public.

Health Minister Nitzan Horowitz said that adults with impaired immune systems who had been given two doses of the Pfizer vaccine could receive a booster dose with immediate effect, while a decision is awaited on more extensive distribution.
