Los Angeles County is going to reintroduce mask mandate this weekend. Public health officials have been struggling with an increase in COVID-19 cases with the highly transmissible Delta variant.

Los Angeles is home to 10 million people and is the country’s second-largest city. It is among the several jurisdictions that have recommended or made it compulsory to wear masks or other pandemic restrictions recently as cases have shown an alarming rise in several parts of the nation.
