Insufficient evidence to screen kids for scoliosis, says USPSTF

In an update to its 2004 recommendation, the US Preventive Services Task Force (USPSTF) has concluded that presently there is insufficient evidence to assess the balance of benefits and harms of screening children and adolescents aged 10 to 18 years for idiopathic scoliosis. The final recommendation statement is published on the USPSTF website and also January 9, 2018 in JAMA.
