J&J Vaccine Doses Expected in India in Nov-Dec

It is expected that India will receive the first doses of the one-dose COVID-19 vaccine from Johnson & Johnson (J&J) in November or December this year, stated a senior government source. The vaccine was granted Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) in the country last week.

Another COVID-19 vaccine that is likely to arrive soon is Zydus Cadila’s DNA coronavirus vaccine. This vaccine is expected to soon get the approval from the country’s drug regulator. The source stated that two crore doses monthly are expected from Zydus Cadila. The vaccine from Biological E is also likely to be introduced soon with seven crore initial doses expected in one go… (News 18, August 13, 2021)
