Johnson & Johnson has stated that booster doses of its single-dose COVID-19 vaccine evoked a considerable surge in antibodies.

Individuals who were administered a booster dose, six to eight months following the initial jab, had a nine-fold increase in antibodies compared to that seen 28 days after the first dose, stated the company, adding that the data has been obtained from two Phase 2 studies done in the United States and Europe.
