An attendant of dengue patient has alleged that the authorities of Bright Star Hospital, Moradabad had put their patient who has already dead on ventilation to extract money from the family. A video clip went viral which showed that the family members were told that their patient was alive and put on ventilator. But one of the family members managed to get into the ICU and found the patient was lying dead and all machines were shut down.

Moradabad health department officials said that the allegations in the video would be investigated. Few months before complains against the same hospital was raised for negligence as lack of oxygen resulted in the death of 14 COVID-patients. Earlier on Tuesday, the hospital was again accused of medical negligence by relatives of 3 dengue patients. The Chief Medical Officer of Moradabad had directed the deputy medical officer to investigate the matter and find the exact cause of deaths.
