The study revealed that chronic cough and sensitive skin are often associated and this link suggeststhe neuropathic nature of sensitive skin.

What do you interpret?

Sensitive skin and chronic cough are ways of hyperreactivity to environmental factors, and have common neuropathic pathways. 

Dermatologists should ask their patients about chronic cough, and pulmonolists should ask their patients if they have sensitive skin.
