Suffixing degrees of additional qualifications

A doctor should not suffix degrees of additional qualifications after his/her name unless he/she has cleared them. Doing so is considered professional misconduct. 

In an order DMC/1083/2013, the State Medical Council quoted regulation 1.4.2 of the MCI Code of Ethics Regulations, which clarifies that one should not suffix degrees after his name unless he has cleared them.
