Nausea, loss of appetite could be symptoms of Omicron infection: Study

According to Zoe Covid app study, new symptoms related to the Omicron infection could include nausea and loss of appetite.

UKs NHS stated that the symptoms of COVID-19 generally include high temperature, a new, constant cough, or loss or change in sense of smell or taste. However, some patients have reported having nausea and loss of appetite, which are not usually associated with COVID infection. Tim Spector, Professor of Genetic Epidemiology at Kings College London, said that these symptoms are common among those who have received two vaccine doses or even booster.

A CDC analysis of the first 43 cases investigated in the US revealed that the four most common symptoms of the Omicron variant include cough, fatigue, congestion and runny nose. Some cases also had vomiting, revealed the report… (Times Now News – IANS, January 3, 2022)
