A new article stated that skin aging commences with a spectrum of changes such as – fine lines or wrinkles, discolorations and benign keratoses, and may progress to deeper wrinkles, pre-cancerous lesions and eventually skin cancers. Some suggest that skin pigmentation determines the pace of aging while a school of thought states that other factors like ethnic differences in DNA repair plays a critical role.
