The Bihar government reported death after more than a month due to a Covid infection. The state reported the last death was on March 21, 2022. The patient, 64 was a resident of Phulwarisharif and had no comorbidities stated a hospital staff. 

The death was reported on Thursday increasing the total death toll to 12, 257 in the state. As per the health department, there are 33 active cases in the state.
