The education rights group stated that over 15,000 NEET PG 2022 aspirants have submitted a memorandum coming from students across the Delhi-NCR region to PM Modi, urging him to postpone the national exam. The exam was scheduled for May 21 with the medical student’s association moving to SC citing the clashing dates with the NEET PG 2021 counselling.

The memorandum stated that due to the uncertainty of the counseling process, more than 50,00 aspirants cannot appear for the exam. Also, many aspirants expressed confusion due to the sudden notice and stress ahead of the important exam. The memorandum also put forth a request to form a committee of 5 NEET PG aspirants to whom the student body can discuss their genuine concerns.

The aspirants were represented through groups such as the Federation of All India Medical Association, United Doctors Front Association, All India Medical Students Association, NCR Parents Association, etc.
