Amritha Hospitals announced a new 2400-bed campus in Faridabad spread across 133 acres that will soon be open to the public. This project is the second-largest hospital in India after the 1200-bed campus was established in Kochi, Kerala, 25 years ago. The new hospital includes a 14-floor tower that will consist of the key medical facilities and patient areas. The hospital will also include 8 centers of excellence such as oncology, cardiac Sciences, neurosciences, gastro sciences, renal sciences, bone diseases and trauma, transplants, and mother & child.

The hospital will become operational in August with a staff strength of 10000 people including over 800 Doctors. The massive facility will also include 543 critical care beds, 64 modular operation theatres, with the most advanced imaging services, a fully automatic robotic laboratory, high-precision radiation oncology, most updated nuclear medicine, and a state-of-the-art 9 cardiac and interventional Cath lab for clinical services. Dr. Sanjiv Singh, Medical Director, Amritha Hospital, stated that the hospital campus will also include a 7-floor building, that will be exclusively used for setting upgrade A to D GMP labs that will focus on identifying diagnostic markers, AI, ML, Bioinformatics, etc. These labs are an initiative to integrate all aspects of medical science and bridge the gap between clinicians and scientists.
