Tiotropium effective in children with persistent asthma

Tiotropium showed the potential to reduce asthma exacerbation risk in children aged 1–5 years with persistent asthmatic symptoms not well-controlled by inhaled corticosteroids in a study reported online January 16, 2017 in the Lancet Respiratory Medicine.
